Kwai Noi river, Kanchanaburi · 6 minutes from the town centre
Chuan Chom Ploen faces two ways at once — the garden on one side, the Kwai Noi on the other — which is the whole idea of it: something green to wake up to and something moving to sit with. These are the simplest rooms at Kohkorya and the cheapest way onto the water here, and they still come with breakfast for two.
Inside is the resort standard: air conditioning, hot water, a fridge, cable TV and free WiFi. Everything else is a short walk — the Taraburee floating restaurant out on the river, raft trips from the jetty, and Kanchanaburi town six minutes away by car.
A room for two with the garden on one side and the river on the other. Breakfast included.
The entry rate at Kohkorya — the same river, a third of the raft price.
Two per room, so four of you take two rooms. Fine, but not one shared space.
Take the raft instead — it was built for eight and comes with its own deck.
