เรือนดาวชมเดือน — the house for watching the stars and the moon — is the small one. A villa at the river's edge, warm and plain and not trying to be anything more than that, with the Kwai Noi a few steps away and a lot of sky over it once the light goes.
Inside is the resort standard: air conditioning, hot water, a fridge, cable TV and free WiFi, and breakfast for two in the rate. The Taraburee floating restaurant is out on the water, raft trips leave from the jetty, and Kanchanaburi town is six minutes away by car.
